# Next: Scalability

We've seen an overview of IronWeave, and understand how its Shared-Block Architecture focuses on the block, rather than the chain. Such focus creates unprecedented flexibility in every aspect of the IronWeave fabric. 

In this section we learned how each block is independently encrypted with keys only participants possess, creating a new and secure data unit for online interactions in an always-online, increasingly AI-driven world. While these breakthroughs are compelling, they can only redefine the way the world interacts, and how the world creates and owns data, if it's scalable enough for the whole world to engage.
